Much like the precarious line between thinking carefully about food and obsessing over it, exercise is also a highly beneficial component of a healthy lifestyle that can easily become problematic... Someone with an unhealthy relationship to exercise might... wake up drastically early to fit in a workout. We agree, and unfortunately, we see an increasing number of people with unhealthy relationships with their exercise program, just as we see people with unhealthy relationships with their food. As a general guideline, if you dont get a bare minimum of six hours of sleep, we dont think you should do hard training. (This is, of course, assuming that you exercise to be healthy. If you are training for a competitive event and understand that exercise can be overtly harmful to your health, that is a choice that only you can make.) m.huffpost/us/entry/5290153
