Musicians have typically been quite radical and vocal with their views through music. Jimi Hendrix for example throughout the movement in the 60s/70s. Or Louis Armstrong impact through integrating Blacks into American pop culture throughout The Harlem Renaissance. Our music today, realistically, does nothing remotely similar to those two examples. Music today virtually has no meaning to society. And if it does, its only on an individualistic level. Not on a mass movement level.
