Much of what this man says is similar to how I see the short-vision future. It is a universal notion that the infrastructures of humanity are broken. Everybody can see that. The repair to the brokenness is what fractures us. An example is that for all intents and purposes, ISIS is responding to their view of the brokenness by ways that are offensive to us and some of the ways Westerners respond are deeply offensive to them. So the question remains....How do we make our repair? I have found a clear path through becoming a disciple of Jesus Christ. It has been a repair to my own brokenness for many years and continues to motivate me to be proactive in making this world a better place. That there are others who claim the name of Christ yet do not put their efforts into pursuing the various ideals pertaining to peace, justice, and love is noted. But thankfully there are many disciples of Christ trying their best to love and serve their generation with Jesus himself as an example. I believe this is a rational path from a rational God. If your faith is irrational, it may be because you are looking at it with errant assumptions. Since Christianity is a testable belief, in your heart-of-hearts really listen to the God Who is continually speaking to anybody who will listen.
