"Much to my surprise, I have not seen this subject addressed very much on the internet. It is discussed here and there through a bit of passing, usually filled with complete bias. Bias for who, you ask? Sarcasm, ladies and gentlemen. Blaze Bayley was not taken in well by Iron Maiden fans, and this is no surprise to be honest. With Bruce Dickinson being one of the most talented and iconic front-men in heavy metal history, not even Rob Halford would have been taken in very well at this point. Now that Bruce is back and all is well in the Iron Maiden family (for most fans at least), this subject appears to be dead and gone. The majority of Iron Maiden fans just ignore Blaze Bayley’s time in the band which is a shame considering he was apart of one of their best albums in my opinion with The X Factor. The dark and vulnerable tone of Bayley’s voice made The X Factor what it is, a dark and introspective masterpiece. However here we will not be discussing Bruce and Blaze’s time in Iron Maiden today, but their solo careers. maidenslavereviews.blogspot/2012/11/bruce-dickinson-vs-blaze-bayley-solo.html
