Mudavadi political fate has already been sealed. Even if he forms a new party the current UDF Mps and MC’s from Western will not decamp from UDF to the new party. The reason is simple, according to provisions of political parties Act they will not be able to take part in subsequent by election. For one to contest in a by election must be nominated by a party that he/she has associated himself/herself for a minimum of three Months if he/she has resigned and six Months if he/she has been expelled. Mudavadi blundered when he allowed Kizito ( a non-official) to call special NDC meeting and then cancel it. As if nothing had happened Mudavadi’s group convened another NDC without giving a 21 day notice to UDF Chairman. It is unbelievable that they made the decision to suspend the bonafide Chairman before they notified him about the said meeting. Then they went to Kangemi where they picked up the busy bodies and brought them to Lovington as UDF delegates. It is clear from the fore going that Mudavadi has no moral authority to advise anyone on democracy and the rule of law. This guy does not have leadership qualities and should not therefore be entrusted with leadership at any level in this Country.Luhyas should look for someone who can make sound judgment. Just as I had said earlier the decision to expel UDF bonafied officials is null and void abi-nitial. I still repeat it here and now in order to set grounds for Mudavadi’s sycophants to hurl insults at me as they always do.The truth is Mudavadi cannot carry the aspirations of Luhyas and Kenyans in General. It is wrong for Luhyas to rally behind Mudavadi just because he has worked in govt for over two decades.It is about our lives and not Mudavadi’s selfish interests.
