Muhamadu Buhari qualified to be a 2nd Lieutenant. Then qualified - TopicsExpress

Muhamadu Buhari qualified to be a 2nd Lieutenant. Then qualified to be a Captain. Then qualified to be a Major. Then qualified to be a Lt. Colonel. Then qualified to be a Colonel. Then qualified to be a Brigadier General. Then qualified to be a Major General... The Nigerian Army oblivious of the self-implications for its institution waved a near-naked file containing a solitary document as its record of an officer that the nation spent considerable resources training up to the rank of a General in Nigeria, India, Europe and the U.S. And you think all the people would all be foolish all of the time to believe the charade? It is important to ask if the Army is contesting that Buhari rose through its rank to attain the position of a Major General? Can an officer jump to the rank of a Major General without scaling certain parameters called promotional courses and attaining the needed qualification(s) in the process? Are those attained qualifications (which the Army call Stars) inferior or superior to the much over-hyped School Cert? Is the Army Board not the proper custodian of those records? Where then are the records of all the professional and promotional courses a Muhamadu Buhari attended at home and abroad? If they are missing as claimed by the Army , then how, when, why and under whose watch? Was Gen. Buhari informed of the loss of any or all of his service records in the custody of the Army Board? If he was, where is the correspondent? These are the questions that must be vigorously interrogated by any enlightened citizen worth his salt including dye-in-the-wool Jonathanians who have been having a feast ever since a highly politicised and compromised Army leadership proclaimed to the word that only a piece of document exists in its record of a General and former Head of State who was in its employ for more than 34 years! One thing is for sure, by the time the feasting and attendant drunkenness is over, a Gen. Muhamadu Buhari would have long contested and won the February 14th, 2015 election! ON BUHARIS ELIGIBILITY In response to inquiries by numerous friends and people who have inboxed or called on the much touted legal possibility of Buharis disqualification, i say Sleep, relax and keep your PVC safe for 14/2/2015. Apart from the well known combined provisions of Sections131, 137 and 318 of the 1999 Constitution (As amended) and Section 31 of the Electoral Act, 2011, by the doctrine of JUDICIAL NOTICE, even the Court of Law is compelled to take judicial notice of the service and assumption of office of a MAJOR GENERAL MUHAMMADU BUHARI who, as a NOTORIOUS FACT took office on the 31/12/1983 with the rank of a MAJOR GENERAL having risen to that rank and served in positions that are not contestable and makes him fit and proper by virtue of Section 318 of the constitution to contest any position he chooses to. When its time for the Court to make findings of facts by way of subpoena duces tecum in line with Section 31(5) and (6) of the Electoral Act, we will be waiting to see the loud mouthed General who waved a naked file at a bewildered nation take the witness box. Until the PDP summons courage to go to Court, this will be the last i will say on this matter. I must add that i quite envy the SANs and Lawyers who are already salivating and waiting to rip billions in this wild goose chase. Via...Barrister Samuel Ehis Irabor
