Muhammad Al-Durrah was only 12-years-old when both he and his father, Jamal Al-Durrah, were caught in gunfire from the Israeli occupation forces on September 30, 2000 on the second day of the Second Intifada in the Gaza Strip. For 45 minutes, his father tried to shield him from the bullets and cried out for the shooting to stop. They were unarmed. Israeli occupation forces didn’t heed the pleas from the father. They didn’t care about a defenseless frightened and innocent boy. Instead, they shot him dead. And the world watched. Four Israeli bullets, sponsored and supplied by the likes of the US and the UK, killed Muhammad Al-Durrah.
