Separately, a bomb blew apart an ANA truck in Hayderabad’s Tamba area, killing 3 hirelings onboard and leaving 3 others severely wounded. ---------------------------------------- Outpost targeted with mortar strike HELMAND, Sep. 01 – Several mortar rounds fired by Mujahideen at 06:00 am this morning slammed inside a joint ANA/Arbaki outpost in Gerishk district however the exact losses inflicted could not be determined. ---------------------------------------- Two gunmen along with dog injured by blast URUZGAN, Sep. 01 – A bomb detonated on hireling Arbaki militiamen in Lwarh Darwaishan area adjacent Tarinkot city midmorning today as a result, 2 gunmen and their dog were wounded. ---------------------------------------- Intelligence worker, guard killed in Farah city FARAH, Sep. 01 – Abdul Bari, a worker of NDS (intelligence agency) and his guard were gunned down and killed by Mujahideen at 10:00 am this morning in Farah provincial capital. ---------------------------------------- Two hirelings wounded in Pusht Rod firefight FARAH, Sep. 01 – A firefight took place between Mujahideen and hireling troops in Pusht Rod district’s Kajkin Ziyarat area at 01:00 pm today during which 2 police were wounded whereas a Mujahid was also injured by enemy fire and another rewarded martyrdom (may Allah accept him). ---------------------------------------- Two Arbaki militiamen gunned down FARYAB, Sep. 01 – Mujahideen gunned down and killed 2 hireling Arbaki militiamen yesterday near Almar district center. ---------------------------------------- Twenty six puppets killed, 30 vehicles destroyed in Wardak operation WARDAK, Sept. – Mujahideen of the Islamic Emirate ambushed the US-Nato invaders’ military-guarded supply convoy in different parts of Syed Abad district, Wardak province that triggered a bloody fighting lasting through much of the day. As many as 26 security guards and supposedly civil order policemen were killed and 15 others got wounded, while as many as 22 oil tankers and supply trucks were destroyed with 16 others partly damaged. The attack began when the Mujahideen entered the city and opened fire on an ANA battalion commander (Asif) near Madad intersection, sparking a prolonged clash which resulted in the governor of Arghandab district (Qadir) killed while commander Asif, the commander of check posts lining on the road to Mizana (Tawus aka Mirwaise) and commander Muhammad Rafiq along with 5 other police wounded.
