Mujahid Diaries A series of documentary movies released by Al Sahab Media Institution , the voice of Al Qaeda in Afghanistan, talks about the daily life of the Mujahedeen there. This is the ninth movie : Mujahid Diaries [9] titled: The suffering of Mujahedeen. It shows some of the difficulties that Mujahedeen have to face every day. 1. The canceling of some military operations After getting everything ready and walking long distances, through rough terrain, to the target points, the operation get canceled because of some technical glitches. 2. The lack of medical staff and equipment You can see in the video a non-doctor Mujahid, who has some knowledge in medicine from some special courses and medical books, is making a surgery for another mujahid, and you can notice also the lack of medical equipment. 3. Snowfall The snowfall in Winter causes a lack in military operations and a difficulty in transportation. 4. Jihad Al Nafs [ fighting one’s self psychologically] Sometimes , after getting everything ready, the operation fail, and that could cause desperation and disappointment . In this case, the Mujahid must be patient and stand firm, so he wouldn’t surrender and give up jihad. 5. The rough terrain through Afghanistan mountains Mujahedeen need always to remember that: ” That is because they are not afflicted by thirst or fatigue or hunger in the cause of Allah , nor do they tread on any ground that enrages the disbelievers, nor do they inflict upon an enemy any infliction but that is registered for them as a righteous deed.
