There were no options available other than to manage her pain levels. We still thought we had time. On Sunday morning she was in pain and in true Charli style still disguised the level of it. Despite the strong medication we made the decision to be one of dignity for her and pinned her wings on for her. . ...... Thank You to Dr Marlies Bohm of the King Edward Veterinary Referral Clinic for seeing to Charli at 09h00 on Sunday morning. She walked into the Clinic a proud and fearless girl, tennis ball in mouth and flew over the bridge in true Charli style welcoming her new challenge, Your legacy lives on and a legend you will always be no matter what. People dream about a dog like you, I was blessed to have bred, owned, trained and handled you. Farewell my friend, travel partner on many trips locally and Internationally, show dog extra-ordinaire, working dog, pet, etc etc. Your time on earth was short, you taught me so much, met many friends across the globe, gave your all everytime without fail and took every challenge like a professional athlete you always were. May GOD bless Charli as he welcomes her home. We miss you Charli Choo.
