Mum Blackberry has gone back home to Seaford tonight. she came in 3 weeks ago being found running frantically round a garden in the daytime where her 250g baby Raspberry was also found a short while earlier. Both were found to have fluke, an internal parasite which can make hogs very manic as they are very uncomfortable. Both were reunited and mum let baby carry on feeding from her. We treated them and left them together so baby could naturally wean alongside Mum, baby Raspberry is now just over 400g and Mum is nearly 900g having gained 150g herself in care :-) We separated them on Monday and baby is doing fine on his own so Mum has been released home tonight with a clean bill of health
