Mum Update.. 2 weeks ago today my Mum had a fall at home and broke her hip, shes been in hospital ever since, and had an op to pin her hip together, it been a long haul after the traumatic event, and she had another fall on Saturday night, but apart from shaking her up, no harm done. Then today my Mum was discharged very suddenly from hosp, she was assessed and there was a place for her in our local nursing home, so she was admitted this afternoon.. oh its a lovely place, she is happy to be there and looking forward to a good nights sleep. It is such a relief to be progressing to getting her well enough to go home :) Thank you everyone for well wishes, lovely comments, texts and phone calls, it has been a great help and comfort to me xxx
