Mum question:can you help my little girl and myself cope with going to day care. My daughter is just 8 months and a very happy and forward child. We had her first day in care yesterday with another tomorrow but Im feeling slight anxiety sending her as her first day she fretted. I rang at lunch to see how she was and the carers said that it has taken awhile for her to settle and that she was crying as we spoke. She only fell asleep in the pram and when I picked her up she was still getting her breath from crying do hard. She hadnt drunk any water and only half of her bottle the whole day. Does it get easier each time? Im feeling horrible about leaving her again, maybe Im also looking for reassurance that shell be ok?! How can I help the transition?
