Mumbai : Monday Dt.13 October 2014 BJP’s social media and IT cell presents last creatives as the election campaign comes to end Harish Bhimani volunteers with ‘Mahabharat’s Samay’ audio BJP’s Social and IT media cell today released the last phase of their social media campaign in the press conference at State headquarters. National VP, Vinay Sahastrabuddhe, spokespersons Keshav Upadhye, Kanta Nalwade and Omprakash Chauhan ,Jiten Gajaria, convener, social media cell, attended the press conference. The cell released the last presentation of immensely popular cartoon series “Bhaoocha Dhakka’’ and two audios made voluntarily by a noted voice-over artist Mr. Harish Bhimani. Bhimani who was the voice of “samay’ in Mahabharata serial, sent a voter appeal via these audios on the same feel of `Samay’ for the party’s social media campaign. “Earlier we saw Maharashtra in Mahabharata and now we will hear Maharashtra’s Mahabharat via these audios.’ quipped Sahastrabuddhe, thanking Bhimani for his support to the party. Now that the campaigning for perhaps one of the most complex state assembly elections comes to an end, the party expects a sudden surge in online activities by politically aware people. Social media played a key role in changing people’s perceptions about politics and politicians and in a way turned people into content contributors. As the campaigning on mainstream media comes to an end, the election fever is expected to continue in the social media space with the same fervour. “BJP has a huge support online and we expect the online campaign to continue till the last minute of elections.’’ said Jiten Gajaria.
