Mumma-Bear Update.... This is strange... Writing an update on myself and my bone marrow results . Well first - a bone marrow is no fun! My poor baby has endured so many of them. My level of admiration in my son has sky rocketed in the last 5 days. The constant blood draws, vitals , listening to ones chest over and over. CT scans, bone marrow biopsies . The list goes on and on. I want to first say how incredibly blessed I feel to have had so many amazing notes of love. I am one of the luckiest one alive. I have a husband who has stood by my side and fought for my care and friends who have done the same. I feel so very very lucky and I am! Thank you to the Catholic Church who have brought me communion. What a true blessing. I admire their volunteers ever so much. The preliminary bone marrow is clear. We will know for sure tomorrow. Praise The Lord !!! They have decided to keep a watch and wait attitude on the lymph nodes that are enlarged and not take me to surgery. Michael and I will meet with the team this afternoon. This week they suspected I had lymphoma as my white blood count was very low and lymph nodes swollen and I have a rash. I am now on steroids and they think I could may have had a severe reaction to an antibiotic I was on. All tests for auto-immune disorders and viruss are negative. I did tell the hospital today and I quote if I have stage 1 lymphoma and your wrong and I come back in 6 months with stage 4 - I will sue your ass... So lets just say they have done every test known to man on me. Prayers I get out of hospital tonight or tomorrow. I miss my babies - I havent seen or held them since Friday morning :((( Its been a scary week. Beyond thankful for my girlfriends who visited me and made me laugh. Laughter is truly the best medicine. I truly am one of the luckiest woman alive. I promised God I would start to take it a little (just a little) bit easier ;) cant save the world from hospital so this has been a huge wake up call for me. Written by Mumma - Bear...
