Murder, some may suggest, is to be defined as the intentional and un-coerced killing of the innocent; and it is true by definition that murder is wrong. Yet wars, particularly modern wars, seem to require the killing of the innocent as collateral damage, under the claims of security threats. As a Jew I condemn Hamas as a terrorist organization which must be dismantled. Additionally I condemn Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the Government of Israel for the murder of innocent civilians. Complicit in their behaviors, President Obama and Secretary-General of the United Nations Ban Ki-moon and The Security Council has failed to issue a resolution to condemn the killings engulfing Gaza, where the death toll of innocent civilians, including children has now surpassed a death toll of 149. A woman and a three-year-old girl were killed in air strikes making them the latest victims. Psalm 51:18 Do good in thy good pleasure unto Zion: Build thou the walls of Jerusalem.
