Murfreesboro... we need to do something about this. They are everywhere and on every corner. If they are hungry dont give them money. Thats what they want..they arent hungry they want money. If they are in need of food....get them a sandwhich..if they refuse food...BUSTED. Give them work to do. Do something good for them. Dont just give them money to make your self feel better. Thats lazy. If they are hungry...help them get food. These panhandlers are on every corner as you get off the interstate. Or at a stoplight. 100% i believe there are not that many people in Murfreesboro that are that bad off. I believe that 80% of these people asking for help at a stop light dont need it. Sure some of them may need help but those getting handouts will ruin any chance of me ever giving money to anyone with a sign. I gave my extra McDonalds one day to a guy. And i watched him eat it as i drove off. We WORK hard for our money. These folks are sticking out their hand and people are putting 3-5 dollars in their hand. With no work. With no taxes. Some of them make more in a DAY by holding a sign saying they need help...then we do at WORK all day. Really? We have to do something about this.
