Musa alayhis salam had a serious speech impediment which caused him to stutter. When Allah ordered him to go to Pharaoh to deliver the message he was concerned. How would he deliver it? How could he do it justice? This is when he made that beautiful duaa found in Sura Ta-Ha [Moses] said, My Lord, expand for me my breast [with assurance] and ease for me my task and untie the knot from my tongue that they may understand my speech. After making this duaa Musa went to Pharaoh and delivered the message. The beautiful eloquence of the conversation that took place between him and Pharaoh follows in the same sura and elsewhere. Lesson? Whenever we are faced with a difficult and intimidating task we should turn back to Allah and remember that there is no ease except what Allah makes easy. Make duaa. Make preparations and then put your trust in Allah. If you are doing something correct that is for His sake alone, He will not forsake you and He will assist you.
