Music City Media & Marketing is seeking a social media intern for the Spring 2015 semester. We are an independent boutique-style, public relations, media and marketing company servicing the music industry (primarily country music) and select corporate clients. Services include, but are not limited to, client/artist development, single/CD release campaigns, tour press and media training. The social media intern will assist in content creation, research new leads for clients, as well as track campaign performance to optimize advertising spend. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, very organized and would describe themselves an early adopter (you are always eager to discover the next up and coming social media platform to conquer!) A knowledge of trends/developments in digital marketing combined with a passion for the music industry is required. Our social media intern must be a self-starter who is computer literate with a proficiency in Microsoft Office and Photoshop. HTML and video editing skills are a plus. A minimal monthly stipend is offered; students needing college credit are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities and requirements include: - Create, plan and execute promotional campaigns. - Develop thoughtful and engaging content for platforms including, but not limited to: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Vine, etc. - Evaluate campaign effectiveness through various analytic tools. - Coordinate several tasks for timely project delivery with a high attention to detail. - Navigate through new applications with ease. - Basic image editing for promotional use.
