Music Day The Baby Bees Group played with play-dough and Lego games. We colored with red and blue and we practiced how to hold the pencil in our hands. Then, we listening to: The Little Red Riding Hood story and later we enjoyed dancing. The Caterpillars practiced the fine motor-skills being involved in puzzle activity. The children enjoined painting patterns of 2 colours ( orange - black, black - white). The Old MacDonald had a farm song was introduced to them and they were interested in playing with plastic farm animals. The children from Butterflies listened to the Emperors new clothes story, they colored the two tailors and made the Emperor. We discussed about the clothes we wore, about their materials and patterns. We sang with great joy Baa, baa black sheep and Baa, baa white seep songs. The children practiced number 3, counted clothes and made a nice coat craft. They had fun dancing and playing statues game. Today the Smarties listened to the story of Bob the Builder and talked about building materials. We made a hut craft using thread as straw for the roof of the hut. We learnt to skip count by studying house numbering on a Math worksheet. We revised Jolly Phonics (set 2) letters by playing a letter maze. We had a lot of fun playing indoor games. At the Zumba club the children learned the steps of Bollywood dance. They were very happy dancing on arash-boro boro and on the latino rhymes. The Little Artist Club was a session of painting and the theme was Multicolored pictures. The children experienced the splish-splash technique and used as many colours as possible. The more they splashed the more beautiful the pictures were. Excellent work!
