There is a story a friend of mine shared- A grandfather and his grandson were at the beach and there were lots of starfish on the beach. The grandfather was watching the grandson throw the starfish in the sea and told him that he could not save all the starfish. the grandson picked up one starfish, threw it into the sea and said, "I saved that one." Each child that we help makes a difference. The picture below shows a seven year old walking barefoot in 40 degree heat carrying a bucket full of water bottles, instead of going to school. Did she have a choice? NO. Do we have a choice in making a difference to her world? YES
