Music License Update After a visit to the police it is a little more clearer....only just!! All establishment providing recorded entertainment.....ie Music....TV Videos.....TV entertainment will be subject to a license....the cost is based upon the size of the bar so at the moment dont know how much the cost will be...and it seems as it is something to do with performing rights...apprently one is infringing the copyright act if one doesnt have a license....I wonder if the same applies to the fake DVDs and Tshirts Watches etc etc sold in the market.....we will see.....If you are presenting acts on a regular basis then that will be a separate license. I am told that you can apply for ONE OFF licenses for a particular day or such but that is yet to be confirmed. Persons performing will need a iicense of a right to work what ever that means. We were told they will be checking all bars and restaurants in the Mugla area over the next few weeks....ps dont shoot the messenger...
