Music Notes Greetings All, I want to relay my gratitude for all your fond remembrances as I have been involved in the last few weeks in services at SSBC. Furthermore, I am grateful for the opportunity to return to help in music leadership, partnering with Sarah Heaslett, during this time of transition. So much has happened at Southside since my departure in 2005, and I am just catching up on these developments, so bear with me as we move into the new term and schedule of events. Please let me stress how great an opportunity is ours right now to involve (or re-involve) persons in the musical ministries of the church. We renew regular choir rehearsals this Wednesday at 7pm in the Martinson Choir Room; I do hope to see some of you there! Otherwise, please share this invitation with as many as you can, and perhaps let me or Sarah or the church office know of those we might contact for involvement. Again, let me thank all of you for the opportunity to serve the people of Southside Church in this renewed way; but I am sure you recognize that choirs and music don’t just magically appear—we need you and your gifts.
