Music and business dont mix. -The artist formerly known as Prince Hey Everyone, As many of you know, the music business is evolving. We currently live in a world where its no longer the survival of the fittest, but survival of the most adaptable. Understanding that, Ive decided to embrace and align myself with emerging tech and innovation, and extract myself from the hope to earn a reliable, family-conducive living from the music world. I believe removing myself from the business side, will ultimately produce a much purer form of it. I am still as passionate as ever about writing & creating, but the failing models of the past are the catalyst for this inevitable future. I also believe an equilibrium will balance the failure of cd sales, and the 1 million streams equaling $60 model will eventually change for the better. So with that, Ive decided to continue my education with Harvard and MITs free online courses theyve offered, studying music, science & space, as well as venture into the real estate field, of which Ive been studying for the last 5 or so months now. With this new growth and opportunity, I believe Ill be able to continue building my scoring studio, & thus be able to create more high quality, passionate, and interesting content for everyone. So after much thoughtful consideration, thats my plan for the New Year. May you all have an interesting and fun 2015. =) Cheers, Justin
