#MusicToEndYourDay W/ Winit Tikoo Music Winit tikoo is a singer-songwriter originally from Kashmir, now based in Mumbai. His music is heavily influenced by the Sufi style and Urdu influenced poetry. The live setup is supported by Vinay Kaushal (guitars, vocals), Vivaan Kapoor (drums, percussion), Aditya Kadam (bass), Vaibhav Wavikar (Tabla), Shah Rukh Khan (Sarangi) and Winit Tikoo (vocals, guitars). Born and brought up in Kashmir, a deep influence/reflection of the Sufi tradition of the region and the earthy, Urdu influenced poetry, can easily be found in his music. Combined with latter musical influences, which primarily comprise of blues-based rock n roll, grunge and alternative amongst others, Winit Tikoos sound has developed into a unique amalgamation of these musical expressions with Hindi / Urdu as the poetic vehicle. - NH7
