Musicality and improvisation workshop on 3 orchestras by Victor SIMON VICTOR SIMON is a pianist, conductor and composer from Argentina. He is the founder and the artistic director of Ensemble Montreal Tango (Canada). He is also a pianist for Forever Tango. He will perform on Saturday, March 22nd during the marathon “Flor de tango en Paris” He will organize a 1.5 hour course dedicated to tango interpretation and improvisation according to 3 composers: Juan DArienzo, Carlos Di Sarli, Osvaldo Pugliese. Theme of the workshop: The orchestras – intermediary/advanced dancers - How to listen and identify the specificities of 3 composers: Juan DArienzo, Carlos Di Sarli, Osvaldo Pugliese. *How these composers created these styles. *How to identify and dance on the typical beats of a tango, such as rhythmics and accent. *How to analyze musical examples from each orchestra and improvised dance.
