Musing #19- True stories tied to each other for purpose of illustration-I used park cars at Joeys Restaurant here in the State Capitol- back in my junior and senior years at Catholic High. I laughed, foolishly- as a very young man, and being curious, I wondered- as I saw important politicians, falling down drunk, staggeringly loaded, not with their wives, with women of ill repute. We closed at 10p.m., but, 4 cars of politicians, along with a lobbyist, back when lobbying was legal(not like the law passed has stopped its practice in any way), stayed in that restaurant with the lobbyist who was paying for all of this debauchery- politicians and their harlots, breaking champagne glasses by throwing them against the wall- until 3:a.m.-this happened the whole time the legislature was in session, for the 2 years I parked cars- Now this was back when they didnt have remotes, and only 3 channels on the T.V. I saw these same men on the screen asking for your votes, tall, proud, dignified- surrounded by their families, promising a Better Louisiana. Now I have to be real with you....I wondered. But I didnt know anything about values, integrity,character- in fact I was a little demon back then myself...but, still- when I saw them on TV, I wondered. Now many years later, I believe I was in my late 20s- I was staying with an incredibly wealthy businessman and his girlfriend, names are not important- and I witnessed Louisiana politicians being persuaded. asked, prodded...I did not say a word- and I was still not knowing God , nor values, ,,,,, but, still- I wondered, I really wondered- I sat there, watching closely- quietly, and I wondered......Now here about a month ago, I sat and watched a video, on You Tube, of a certain Pastor that I personally know, whose church I attended for years, a wise-man, a man who professed a love for Jesus, service, charity, a man leading thousands of peoples walk with the Lord- I watched this short video, of this locally, and nationally known- (not Swaggert)- former native churched,famous pastor,-He was reporting that he was gathered up with a whole bunch of other pastors, in prayer for the country, I believe the video is from 2008 - in Washington D.C.(danger),- I listened as he further explained that he was happy to report that he had walked the halls of the Louisiana Legislature- I could be mistaken here- I only watched it once- it might have been the U.S. Legislature- I do not watch You Tube anymore, as it is a tool of the devil, so I am not going to go look- but I sat quietly and listened- as this preacher reported that the politicians were all on their knees in prayer, constant , fervent prayer- as the preacher, the wise man, as the preacher, yes the preacher-walked those halls of power. Now if I, as a 17 and 18 year old, without a heart for God, defiant and sinful in nature, could discern what was going on, well I just wonder... I really wonder....- I had not been to the University yet to study applied Sciences, Math and Logic back in my late 20s- I was still a Rebel Rouser back then- but still, blind as a bat, I could clearly see things going down. So I have to tell you, I wonder, yes I wonder- why anyone would go and be fed spiritually, by any pastor, a college educated pastor, that could not see what a blind man could...this is exhausting..frustrating,,,I pray to Jesus, the Master, that someone can see and hear and feel what I am saying hear- why I find it difficult, so difficult to trust these smooth talking preachers- who lead men blindly-and then report that politicians-self serving, rotten, liars, pawns, all of them, bought and paid for- are good men-when I, yes I, saw the Truth-completely different than the preacher did... I wonder why anyone would ever listen to that preacher, or any of his preacher friends- or any politician...P.S.-stay away from politicians, people that talk about politics all the time in person on the internet etc, and political TV, Radio, Papers, Magazines, Blogs. and preachers that are funny and warm, because real preaching about Jesus is not at all warm, or pretty, or comfortable in our essence- real preaching about the gift that Jesus offers should make you think, and cry,tremble and beg Him for mercy, and thank Him,worship Him,sing songs to soothe Him, the Messiah, the one who bled for hours while being spat upon and tortured- He said, nothing- He took it FOR YOU AND ME!!!! He got hung on a cross FOR US, HES PAID THE PRICE, AND IT WAS UGLY, BUT THE BEAUTY THAT AWAITS YOU, THE MAJESTY, THE HEAVEN- YOU NEED NOT EVER SIT AND WONDER LIKE I DO WHEN I SIT, NOT FOR A SECOND- THAT IF YOU TAKE THIS ACRID YET BEAUTIFUL MESSAGE TO OTHERS AND GET RIGHT WITH HIM, YOUR CREATOR. YOU WONT EVER HAVE TO WORRY, OR TALK ABOUT POLITICS AGAIN,,,AND IF I GET THERE, TO HEAVEN- I WILL SIT AND LOOK WITH WONDER, AT JESUS, AND HEAVEN....AND NEVER SIT LIKE THIS AND WONDER ABOUT STUFF LIKE THIS... P.S.2.-SAYING THE TRUTH MIGHT WELL GET ME KILLED, OR SET UP, OR HAVE SOME UNFORTUNATE END NOT EVER BY MY OWN HAND. I PRAYED ABOUT IT AND WENT PUBLIC WITH ALL OF THIS INSTEAD OF JUST FRIEDS, AND SOME GIRL NAMED JESSICA PLOENNIGS ASKED TO BE MY FRIEND, AS DID OTHERS, AND I SAID YES, AND THEN SHE SENT SOME SICK, PERVERSE MESSAGES TO ME, 4 SO FAR AND A PHONE NUMBER- I WANT TO GO ON THE RECORD THAT I WILL NOT EVER CALL THIS WOMAN, GIRL, WHATEVER SHE/HE/ IT IS,,, I SENT HER A MESSAGE SAYING GO AWAY SATAN..- NOW WE NEED TO PRAY FOR THAT PERSON BECAUSE SHE AINT WRAPPED TOO TIGHT, BUT, LOOK AT WHAT JESUS HAS DONE FOR ME SO THER IS STILL HOPE FOR ALL FOR JESUS WONDERFUL GIFT OF SALVATION. - SO IF I DISAPPEAR KNOW IT AIN;T ME THAT DID MY DISAPPEARING ACT- AND I REALY DONT BELIEVE JESUS IS GONNA MAKE ME DISAPPEAR,NOT YET, A LOT OF TERRIBLE OTHER THINGS NEED TO GO DOWN BEFORE JESUS IS COMING BACK SCRIPTURALLY SPEAKING(GALATIANS 2:1-8- BUT, THESE ARE DANGEROUS TIMES, AND TELLING THE TRUTH IN DANGEROUS TIMES IS DIFFICULT,AND DANGEROUS, BUT...I AINT GONNA WORRY ABOUT IT,,,OR WONDER....
