Musings from the market… The local market supplies just about all our nutritional needs + it also supplies us with the perception of where our social order lies. Today – it was children. We sat in the back paddock – under a huge fig tree that covered an area of many square meters – shaded and shared with a group of children being entertained by facial painting – and watched the parade of people going about their business – choosing their growers and purchasing the freshest of the best on offer. But it was the children that got to me today – sproglets with curly hair, inquisitive movements - shy and bold. A social order without regulations – other than that thrown together by each individual in the moment - in order to create harmony. And Mr. Jaffrey spoke to me again…”Nature Cure is for the youth. You must associate with the youth. Nature Cure is not for us old crocks. Nature Cure is not about curing chronic disease – it’s about teaching the youth so that disease does not develop.” And so I leave you with this – please – teach your children well.
