Muslim Aid Pakistan Job Description Designation Primary Teachers (15) Male (7) ,Female (08) Duration 6 Months Reporting to Education Officer Duty station Jalozai Salary 13,500 per Month Qualification & Experience • Intermediate • At least 2x years of relevant experience. DUTIESANDRESPONSIBILITIES • Teaches reading, language arts, social studies, mathematics, science, art, health, Islamic education and physical education to students in a classroom, utilizing course of study adopted by the education department. • Plan the lessons effectively and implement the designed activities and methodologies to teach comprehensively • Design and implement student-centered activities and ensure that students are actively involved and perform well • Develop different teaching aids and use effectively to maximize students’ learning • Ensure the classroom management • Design and arrange curricular and co-curricular activities weekly and monthly to enhance students’ learning and participation in learning process • Assist Head Teachers and Social Organizers in arrangement of Monthly School Family Days, National Days and other thematic events ensuring the children participation in all activities • Assist the head teacher and Social Organizers in formation of PTCs (Parent Teacher Council) and CBGs (Community Based Groups). • Participate/Conduct meetings with parents (monthly and need based) to seek solutions regarding students’ irregularity, poor performance, and other related problems • Ensure that all the students come on time, and maintain the attendance Register and other relevant documents properly. • Assist with the head teachers in planning and implementation of enrollment enhancement activities to minimize the dropout rate ratio/ motive parents to send their children to schools • Participate in all capacity building program, training/workshop and exposure visits • Make proper record of all the materials (teaching aids, register books, stationeries, text books and other supplies) and use properly • staying up to date with changes and developments in the structure of the curriculum; • Liaising with colleagues and working flexibly; • Identifies student needs and cooperates with other professional staff (Head Teacher, Education Officer) members in assessing and helping students solve health, attitude, and learning problems. • Creates an effective environment for learning through functional and attractive • Displays, bulletin boards, wall Charts etc • Supervises students in out-of-classroom activities during the school day. • Participates in curriculum development programs as required. • Participates in staff meetings. • Perform other duties assigned by the Head Teacher/Education Officer Candidates with relevant qualification and experience may apply through Prescribed Job Application Form available on Muslim Aid Website and send to [email protected] For detailed TORs and Application Form, please log on to, muslimaid.org.pk ormuslimaid.org.pk/careers.html Disclaimer: Keeping in view the urgent need of position, we will keep on short listing the CVs on regular basis and position can be offered before dead line.
