Muslim Conference pays tributes to Gazi Killing & exodus should be investigated by UN: Dar Srinagar, Sep 14: Muslim conference chairman Shabir Ahmed Dar in a statement paid glowing tributes to Shaheed Abdul Rashid Gazi, who was a prominent freedom leader & had throughout his life served the cause of freedom his martyrdom has been planned and it needs impartial probe by an international agency to expose killers. The terror tactics to frighten freedom leadership & activists to keep them away from their mission of freedom will never succeed. The sacrifices of our leaders & brave people will take this freedom movement to its logical conclusion. The human rights abuses by India to prolong its military & forcible occupation in Kashmir is bound to fail as the resolve o f Kashmiries is too strong to be defeated. The unstoppable killing of civilians in Shopian is a cause of serious concern which should be stopped forthwith, otherwise situation will take a serious turn & the mass uprising which will be its outcome cannot be stopped, the expansionist designs of India are bound to fail in Kashmir as the freedom movement is sustained by the sacrifices of people. The Bihari labourer killed in Shopian being dubbed as militant has forced other biharies to leave Shopian, the killing & exodus should be investigated by UN. The negligent & criminal silence maintained by United Nations about the genocide of Kashmiries is testimony to the fact that this world body has failed in its mission of giving every individual his right of self determination. The UN has to fulfill its duties towards Kashmiri people & ensure that India respects its international commitments towards Kashmir.
