Muslim IPS Officer resigns vexed with bifurcation of A.P. Monday, July 29, 2013 Hyderabad, July 28: With the apprehension of bifurcation of A.P. State Mr. Shaik Mohammed Iqbal, IPS, Deputy Inspector General of Police of A.P.S.P. resigns from his post. Mr. Iqbal wrote a letter addressing Dr. P.K. Mohanty, Chief Secretary of the State mentioning his personal resigns for his resignation, but it is said that he was aggrieved of the proposed bifurcation of A.P.State. It may be noted that Mr. Iqbal earned a good name as DCP of Siafabad, Incharge of Task Force and Chief Security Officer of former Chief Minister of A.P. Mr. N.Chandrababu Naidu. He also served as District S.P. of Medak successfully. Later he served in the intelligence department of police. Recently, he was posted as DIG of Police of A.P.S.P
