Muslim volunteer saves Hindu girl during Ganesh procession. A six-year-old, Bhavani, suffered grievous injuries after falling down from the Ganesh pandal near Lumbini Park at the Secretariat. Her mother, Maheshwari, too got seriously injured in the incident and is still in trauma. They are residents of Balapur. The devotees, police personnel and other volunteers rushed for help. Although the volunteers immediately called for an ambulance, but in view of the traffic it was difficult for the ambulance to reach the spot immediately.
