Muslims have misunderstood Lord Jesus Christ as He commands all men to honor Him as equally as one Honors His Father. As His Father is honored by worship likewise He should be honored by worship. John 5:22-23. Lord Jesus said: The Father judges no one, but has given all judgment to the Son, that ALL may honor the Son, just as they honor the Father. Whoever does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent him. Did Lord Jesus accept WORSHIP from His Apostles? Yes, Apostle Thomas worshipped Him as Lord and GOD, and He accepted the worship with gratitude and blessing: John 20:28 Thomas answered him, My Lord and my God! John 20:29 Jesus said to him, Have you believed because you have seen me? Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed. Mark_5:6 But when he saw Jesus afar off, he ran and worshipped him. Luke_24:52 And they worshipped him, and returned to Jerusalem with great joy: John_9:38 And he said, Lord, I believe.
