Must be just one of those days for me I think, maybe my post was not clear, not sure. So going to have my first whinge! The post on the bearded dragon (one post down) that passed away yesterday received medical attention. It was tended to by the owner in every manner one would hope. The purpose of that post was to highlight the hazards with providing advice without understanding the full situation. Fortunately that animal was not reliant upon the responses that were given. But the owners emotional well being was which is just as important here. Classic example my bearded dragon is not moving much, sleeping all day long. Why is it doing this? The typical response is Dont worry, it is just in brumation. But is it? Do you have enough information to to assess that? The best responses would be based on what you have said so far, it could be brumation or could you provide more information on xyz. With comments come responsibility, please use it wisely. An animals life may well be impacted by what your response is. Thats my whinge.
