Mustafa Akyol gave a very nice talk, which touches upon some imortant points that regularly appear in debates on Middle East politics. Akyol speaks about dangers of stereotyping, similarities between Jews and Muslims, how wrong it is to see exteremist minority groups as true representatives of larger communities, and how western community mistakenly looking for religious grounds in whats happening now in Midlle East . Back in 2011, I read his book, Islam without exteremes. Highly recommended. Very solid guy and he really has good points.
