Mustard Seed Faith Matthew 17:19-21 (19) Then came the disciples to Jesus apart, and said, Why could not we cast him out? (20) And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief (Unbelief is the sin which does so easily besets us; it limits us, and it hinders us from experiencing the spiritual, scriptural, and supernatural reality of God’s presence, power, purpose, provisions, protection, profundity, and perfect sovereign will.): for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed (Contextually, why does the LORD reference a mustard seed and what is the significant application of such? The mustard seed according to Scripture is a very small or less of all seeds that becomes a great tree: Matthew 13:31-32; Mark 4:30-32, Luke 13:18-19. With that in mind, it could be that LORD uses the mustard seed to denote that it is the quality of the seed of faith that is able to achieve great things for God, not the quantity of such. The LORD Jesus Christ desires us to experience and exercise the quality of spiritual, scriptural, and supernatural faith. In doing such, such faith will receive and experience great things from the gracious hand of the LORD.) ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove (This is not to name and claim it, as some believe, but to speak forth one’s faith based upon the reality of receiving the manifestation of supernatural faith within one’s inward being through the insights of Scripture and the influences of the Spirit. This is illustrating supernatural faith of the heart expresses and experiences the supernatural reality of such through the proclamation of such in the physical world.); and nothing shall be impossible unto you (What many a believer needs today is to experience supernatural faith not just for eternal salvation, but for earthly supernatural reality of our invisible God working such in and through us. I perceive it is because of our unbelief that the LORD does not manifest the supernatural events of the abundance of sinners being redeemed, saints being revived, and the Saviour’s local Churches growing going, and glowing with the glory of God, His spiritual, scriptural, and supernatural manifestation.). (21) Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting. (We should exercise our faith by praying and fasting that God will graciously do and grant supernatural realities today. We need also to ask for mustard seed faith. Luke 17:5-6 (5) And the apostles said unto the Lord, Increase our faith. (6) And the Lord said, If ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed [This is a different event than Matthew 17:19-21.], ye might say unto this sycamine tree, Be thou plucked up by the root, and be thou planted in the sea; and it should obey you.) Are you asking the LORD, for an increase of your faith (mustard seed faith)? If not is there any wonder why you are not experiencing supernatural events? We must confess and forsake our unbelief that does so greatly hinder us from God’s eternal supernatural blessings here on earth… We must obtain by God’s grace a greater degree or measure of supernatural mustard seed faith in these last of the last days, by: Asking for it; Believing God for it, Claiming the promises of the Scripture for it, and Demonstrating it in and through the Spirit… We can see God do and grant great supernatural things, as we witness nothing is impossible unto us if it is within God’s perfect sovereign will for us, as we receive such by mustard seed faith… Please pray for the H.O.P.E.
