Mutasa dumped in Manicaland The circus in ZANU-PF continues with Minister of State for Presidential Affairs, Didymus Mutasa being the latest casualty. Mutasa who is also the Secretary for Administration in ZANU-PF,has been dumped by the Manicaland province in Central Committee elections, in the latest episode of “ZANU-PF Big Brother evictions” ahead of the crucial elective congress slated for early December. Mutasa has since earned the moniker ‘Gamatox’ after his utterances that weevils in ZANU-PF need to be exterminated by the deadly pesticide. It would appear he is now the one who has been ‘gamatoxed’! The veteran Politician is being accused of fanning factionalism and plotting to assassinate President Mugabe. Ironically, Mutasa in charge of President Mugabe’s security affairs. Another party heavyweight in the province, Munacho Mutezo also lost his seat in the Central Committee. (The Zimbabwe Mail)
