Mutton Biriani Ingredients - 1 kg mutton (steak cubbed) - 2 large onions - 2 large tomatoes - 4 tablespoons tomato paste - 1 tablespoon curry powder - 1 teaspoon turmeric - 2 tablespoons pilau masala - 2 tablespoons garam masala - 1 large pawpaw - 4 cloves crushed garlic - 1 small piece crushed ginger - 1 litre mala - 1 cup rice - 1/4 teaspoon egg yellow colour - salt to taste Directions Mutton 1. Blend the pawpaw with a little garlic and ginger, mix with mutton and set aside for half to 1 hour. Place in cooking pot and cook over low heat until dry. Remove and set aside. 2. Fry onions until golden brown, add tomatoes, remaining garlic and ginger and tomato paste. Cook for two minutes. Ass curry powder, turmeric, garam masala, pilau masala and simmer for ten minutes. 3. Add meat and mala to the cooking mixture and let it simmer over a low fire for 30 - 40 minutes. Rice: 1. In a cooking pot, pour some salad oil and salt to tast and let it get hot.
