Mutuna ward councilor Alarm Nkandu has appealed to the office of the District Education Board Secretary, DEBS, to deploy more teachers at Chofwe primary school. Mr. Nkandu disclosed the statement in a phone interview with K-FM news yesterday. Mr. Nkandu said Chofwe primary school which runs from grade one to seven has only three teachers making it difficult to deliver quality education. He said as at now one teacher is on leave while the other one is ever in town were his families stays making it difficult for one teacher to manage the school. Mr. Nkandu also appealed to the ministry of education to deploy government teachers at Chakasansa and Mwana-umo community schools.
