My - very lovely - doctor let drop today that she believes that my 28 month old is basically only getting fat and water from my breast milk. She mentioned that there would be no immunoglobulin (?) present any more. I realise that there has been little or no medical research done on breast milk after 2 years of feeding and am wondering if there are resources or evidence to the contrary of her beliefs? If so, Id like to be able to give her the details as I think she should know!
