My 2014 goal in the gym has been officially crushed!!! Yesterday after months of work I smashed a goal of pulling 3x my bodyweight and some change (3lb more) deadlifting. This is a goal I never though possible after permanent injuries to one knee (torn cartilage), tender right hamstring (over stretched a few months back) and a previous back injury (torn muscle tissue) that had me off the gym for 6 months years back which I was still rehabbing less than a year ago. The stats... So I pulled 564lb/255lb for 1 rep after my usually set building up in weight - roughly 40reps before my PR and 40reps after in the strip down. My current weight is 187lb (yes even after Christmas) making 3x 561lb I will now be starting 2015 on a deload allowing my body that much needed break after extending my strength phase after failing last week... I want to extend a Thank You to all for the support including my sponsor @Muscletech for the quality pre-workouts which helped, its deeply appreciated.. Side note: I have also competed, traveled the length of the USA and Canada by car, ran a business while trying to make this happen!! I never make excuses for why things havent happened, I just get on with it and I hope I have inspired some of you to do the same same in 2015... Enjoy my 2015 victory dance!!✌️ ✌️
