My 2014 thankful list: Of course, my loving wife and children without whom none of it would matter; spending quality time with family and friends; bacon; the forward pass; absorbent bath towels; the Groot dance my 6 year old does; Al Bundy; surprise runs to the World Series; catamarans; memories of the dearly departed; Marvel comics; my 27 year old fuzzy Jayhawk blanket; due process; As Seen on TV products - Im looking at you Bacon Bowl; Super Creepy Rob Lowe; fried pickles; Taylor Swift; honey bees; Kansas City BBQ; the sun shining through the windows at Allen Fieldhouse on Saturday afternoons; Harry S. Truman; roller coaster rides with my 8 year old; Pinon wood fires; the Walking Dead; the Rolling Stones; the Plaza Barber Shop; and last but not least, school teachers.
