My 3 brothers have been on my mind all day today. Im very proud of each of them and wonder if they realize how amazing they truly are. We have a great relationship that I am very thankful for. I love being with each of them My dad planted a piece of himself in each of my brothers that Im not sure they even recognize. To my youngest brother Chris he gave his love of community and empathy for people. Why else would Chris put his life on the line every day to rescue and save people from danger. To Chris I would say Let this part of you shine. It truly is a large part of who you are. We all knew Dad loved you a little more and in a very special way and we were always ok with that. He left you an amazing gift; use it and allow it to grow within you. To my middle brother Rick, he planted exceptional intelligence and loyalty to family. Not many people realized Dad was close to genius in many areas. He passed his love of knowledge and logical thinking patterns on to Rick. Rick Dwayne be proud of the man you have become because Dad is proud of all that you have accomplished and the loyalty and love you have for your family. To my older brother Brian, Dad gave his name, his love of The Father, the Word and the Church. Just like Dad you have become a mighty Warrior for The Lord; overcoming every challenge the enemy has thrown your way. Its interesting that you have become a Pastor. Dad spent his life protecting and holding up the arms of every pastor he had. I believe that he continues to do that for you now. Hes in a better position of doing that these days and brings you and your needs straight to the feet of the Master. Take comfort in this when you go thru those difficult days.
