My 3 positives for the challenge today. 1. As lots of you know Ive recently left a job I loved after over 9 years... And started a new one. So today enjoyed some studying - The Verbal Behavioural Approach - teaching language to children with autism. I did similar over 15 years ago... However adding the makaton signing makes it even more. Effective/enjoyable. Sparked up the brain cells :-) 2. Enjoyed a great walk in Kilndown this morning with my special buddy Tato (Kathy Coleman) and the 4 dogs. We had a long walk, then sat on a bench in the sun by the pond putting the world to Rights, both of us having had significant stress at work lately. The dogs cavorted about and then rested as we watched dragonflies and the huge fish active in the lilypond. 3. This afternoon - some of my favourite things... A chiropractic appointment with massage and acupuncture, a meditation session, visit to a horsey/tack shop for supplies, hugs with Em my daughter, fed Moley- horse and kissed his soft nose and sat in the sun briefly, enjoyed eating cherries with Emma Pierce and Penny Stainer. To finish off the day, some tutoring planning, a good chinwag with Carol Ann Joyce and scoffed a huge portion of my vegan lasagne with lots of Worcester sauce washed down with a glass of my favourite wine. Messaged my boys, hot bath, bed....:-) Thats probably too many positives... Was I only allowed 3? I now nominate Kathy Coleman, Marion Williams and, Carol Anne Joyce to take the 3 positive challenge :-)
