(What phenomenon in Science is explained for the Greek people in the myth you have read - for example the wind, the four seasons?) 2. What can you infer about this culture’s values?(What can you find out about what the culture values, i.e. beauty, integrity, creativity, intelligence) 3. What can you infer about how this society is organized?(How does the myth show you what the structure of society looks like - i.e. gods, goddesses, kings, queens, farmers, merchants, peasants or in Ancient Athenian democratic society - Citizens, metics, women, children) 4. What, if any, beliefs of this culture are evident? (Remember that beliefs have to do with gods, goddesses, religion and death.) 5. What is the lesson or moral that is to be learned by reading this myth? (What life lesson can one learn from reading the myth - i.e. Always listen to your elders.)
