My 72 Mach 1 currently has a 3.50 Posi unit in the rear end with a 4 speed wide ratio. I am taching 3 grand at 60 MPH. Is anyone out there running a 2.75 gear behind a 4 speed. I want to drive my car on the interstate and not sound like the engine is reved so high. The gas mileage sucks. The 2.75 should put me around 2200 RPMs at 60 MPH Is the 2.75 to high for a wide ration 4 speed ?? Thanks
