My 91 year old mother just had someone try to break into her house, directly across the street from me. They shone lights around the back windows looking in and then they rang the doorbell and then they went back around the side and pulled out a window air-conditioner and were trying to get in that way. They made a lot of noise and I think they were scared off when my mom pressed her ADT button and someone came on loudly on the other end and ask her if she was okay. Police responded immediately, two cars. They also took fingerprints from the window which, hopefully, they will match with some felon somewhere. The officer even secured the window before he left.
