My #AC flight from Washington #DCA to #YYZ is delayed and the lack of #StarAlliance integration is actually quite strikingly awful. First of all, flights operated by AC go out of Terminal A, while UA flights go out of Terminal B. That means is you are ticketed AC, but operated by UA, you have to be really careful not to get messed up. Furthermore, these terminals are a 15 minute walk apart. Further, there is no #AC or #StarAlliance lounge in Temrinal B, but only in Terminal B, meaning that you have to go through security in B, back out (walking away from Terminal A) and through security a second time in Terminal A to use the lounge. It really only makes sense for delayed flights. To add insult to injury, #UA Lounges only have plastic disposable plates and you pay for wine. All in all, at the bottom end of lounge experiences on a global basis. I believe that this terminal confusion within Star Alliance is also the case in Chicago #ORD. While I dont want to seem to be a complainer, it would seem that anyone who looks at customer experience could not have ever designed such a terrible experience :( #UA #FAIL
