My ALS Association #IceBucketChallenge with my very own twist... I have accepted the challenge, bestowed upon me by one, Anthony Joseph Cappel, I have accepted his challege, but do so with the desire to donate $25 to the ALS Association to support their worthy cause and efforts to combat and support those who have Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and the spinal cord. ALS is also known as Lou Gehrigs Disease. The ALS Ice Bucket Challenge has, as of today, raised 15.6 Million Dollars since July 29, 2014! On top of my donation to the ALS Association, I will be donating $25 to Rotary International in support of my club Rotary of Portsmouth, Ohio and our collective effort to eradicate Polio around the world. I will also be donating $25 to Cornerstone Portsmouth and their Kingdom Soccor Youth Soccer Program that is launching this fall to support and provide a scholarship to a child in need! Finally, I am challenging my good friend and a person I look up to, T.J. Sullivan, my supervisor, Brandon Michael Lamma, my soon to be, brother-in-law, Adam Rosenberg, and my good friend, Dave Roberts from WKEE-FM. They will have 24 hours to complete the challenge or donate $100 to the ALS Association. It is my hope that they accept the challege donate to ALS, and to another worthy cause or charity as they see fit. To the first person I have challenged who completes this challenge and lists a secondary charity or worthy cause that they are donating to, I will donate my final $25 to that charity to support them for a total of $100 donated. #StrikeOutALS #RotaryInternational #KingdomSoccer #LetsDoThis!! https://youtube/watch?v=fgSHUTNVDMM&feature=youtu.be
