My Activprayer this AM was for all the fathers of the littlest - TopicsExpress

My Activprayer this AM was for all the fathers of the littlest warriors we have lost over the past few months. You are not forgotten. I can never understand the pain you are experiencing from the loss of your child, but I want you to know that we are thinking of you too. The grief process has to be hard enough for yourself on top of the fact that you are trying to figure out how to comfort your family. Watching your wife and other children grieve the loss of their brother is an experience that can break a man. You have stepped up. You have provided support. You have been patient. You have put your needs aside to comfort your family and be the man of your household. As men, we often hide our emotions and keep them concealed in an effort to provide strength to those who may be hurting worse. This is just what we do. It is hard, but you do it out of love. Fathers...your dedication and loyalty to your family does not go unnoticed. You have picked up the pieces slowly and remained to be outstanding role models for your surviving children. Many men would not be able to do this amazing act. Actually, I am not sure I could handle the loss of one of my children as they are my world. So, today is for you guys. Let your emotions go and know that it is ok to just let it flow. We have your back always in all ways. Intention: Continued support and strength of each family experiencing the loss of their beloved child. Action: 45 minutes of non stop activity. All body weight to represent the selfless act of you lifting up your family on a daily basis. Your only and best tool to comfort them is yourself. PS...
